Such a brilliant school, that after putting my elder tweo boys through her in the nineties I am back again with my younger two to do it all again! I wouldn't want to send them anywhere else! A truly inclusive school, which focusses on the positive attributes of each and every pupil, and treats each one as the special individual which they are. Every child has the ability to thrive in the wonderful environment which this school creates,

Looking back through the website has brought back wonderful memories of the time i spent at Wookey School from 1979 - 1985 when the head was Mr Bailey and then Mr Fleming. I moved away from Wookey in 1992 but will be moving back later this year and so my daughter will start here when she is 4yrs ( currently 4 months old)

Hi, looking through this site has brought back many happy memories of Wookey School. I was there from 1962 until I left to go to Wells Blue School in '65.

I left Wookey in Aug. 2002 and moved to Canada awhere I have been for 6 years now. I am about to graduate and have been accepted to the Royal Military College of Canada where I will be undertaking a 4 year Engineering Degree and will go on to become a Pilot with the Canadian Air Force. Best wishes to all at Wookey Primary.

Looking at this brought back happy memories of the 1970's at the school. It was good to read the comments from Leonard Watt's son who was proabably one of the best teachers that I was taught by. I'm off to re-read the Time Machine for old time's sake now...

Greetings!! I think my grandmother went to Wookey School. Her name was Charlotte (Lottie) James and was born in 1869. She moved to the United States permanently about 1900. Hopefully I can learn more about her life.
